“The difference that makes the difference”

It has been a couple of years ago, that I happened to watch this presentation of Kjell Enhagers TED-Talk on success . And today I just again fell across it and think that it´s really worth to let it find its way into this posting … independently whether you love golf or if you hate it …

One of the key takeaways for problem solving is that, if you run into problems be aware that your attention tends to turn to experiences in the past (claiming that it has been better before), whilst the favorable outcome is still a fantasy in the future. So it is all about to make the future more attractive than the past and to concentrate on what resources you might have and the way to handle your fears on your way of getting there. “The difference that makes the difference”, watch it out yourself and be inspired! Kennt ihr das? Manchmal werden unsere Erwartungen an einen guten Tag auch noch übertroffen – durch Beziehungen mit anderen Menschen – man braucht "NUR" bereit dazu sein.

With all the enthusiasm about AI and new technology, we must not lose sight of the individuals = people in our teams. Unless you evaluate the quality of your #team #culture, it's hard to guess WHAT really drives it today, HOW to keep it up AND make it even better tomorrow.

“Team psychological safety is a shared belief held by team members that it’s OK to take risks, express their ideas and concerns, speak up with questions, and admit mistakes — all without fear of negative consequences.” (Harvard Business Review)

Everything good remains within us Whether – Personal moments of excellence, Contact with meaningful people, Special experiences, activities and places. Or as in my case – remembering a wonderful day with Barbara Kobluk and her great Voestalpine #HR team , where I was allowed to be part of Respire Est. at the #Resilience / #Stressmanagement training together with Nadine Rass and Christoph Holzknecht in glorious #nature and summer weather #greenresilience. The collection of positive experience treasures remains in us and – can be skilfully activated as a resource #AntiStressTraining #wingwavetraining, when we have to deliver on the trigger again #AktiveBalance #MittenimLeben, or when our “innerer Schweinehund” – sorry – mindmonkey (:-))) tries to slow us down #mentalcoaching. So, and now – I'm going to finish my overdue logbook records, fully motivated and right away (;->) Because things run better with joy! #WorkLifeCompetence #NextGenerationWorkLife #employerbranding Curious? >> CLICK >> for personal conversation with GEKO !
